the ignition is something i made out of a 3,0V flyswatter
i picked it apart, modded it a little bit and put a 9V on it(the rest you see on the pic)

welcome to spudfiles

I didnt understand a word of that.
Pressure ratings dont matter on combustions, but they do matter?
Eh?

Edit: Oh i forgot to mention, great looking cannon!

I assume the hardware cloth is used for a safety feature (If that was stated in an earlier post, I apologize; I did not read all of them). Whether it is or isn't, I think it's a nice touch. Makes the cannon look unique, and I think that's what every cannon needs (referring to uniqueness). Good job.

ABS pipe doesent send shrapnel, it breaks in seams.

Most DWV has been "tested" by fellow spudders to 100- 160psi burst pressure. But never use it in a puenematic/high powered combustion.

The only thing Im worried about is cell core PVC pipe.
Cell core ABS it fine to use for a combustion even my metered stungun style ignition uses cell core abs because the way they extrude abs it leaves "seams" so if it is gonna blow it will blow along a seam, not as a shrapnel grenade like pvc
Yea, that's definitely going to get you at least a tazer.

thx hubb. appreciate it

the hardware cloth was first just an idea to make it look unique as you said, but i read the pvc spreads shrapnel all over the place if it explodes, so it got intended for safety reasons too :D

i`ll watch my language from now on. sry about that :)

and yes, i`ve got a video camera but the problem is that i live in a small town in a quite crowded area in the middle of the "über-christian-neighbourhood" :D (i`ve already been getting a LOT of negative response from them)

anyways, i`ll try to get som destruction-vids uploaded in a couple a days if i get the time to do it

but first off i need to find something that "needs" to be destroyed

It is PVC? I thought it was made of ABS pipe, but after looking again, it looks as if the pipe is wrapped in electrical tape.

If it is made of ABS, it will split rather than shatter. Also, I wouldn't be too concerned with the PVC shattering with a combustion. But don't remove the hardware cloth.

flyswatter?.... That's the best part!
Let's hear more on that. Cheaper than stun? Longer lasting?
The mod?

You can get electric flyswatters that work similarly to a bug zapper. Put a little more voltage through it and you get the idea.
