hey sjog
all you need to know is in the pictures 8)
the flyswatter costed me about 3 dollars i guess and as paaiyan sad, a little more voltage and there you go
all you need are the chips inside the flyswatter, a couple cables and a working brain
btw. i tried to put 18V on it... but it didn`t work out to well. it zapped just once and made a weird RRRRR sound , so i 9V it was. works perfectly and is definitively cheaper then stun, lasts for a long time (depends how you treat it) and its 100% legal. 8)
the flyswatter used was something similiar to this:
My first spudgun ever =p *updated pics

Jokke Himself: This is the first I've heard of using an electric flyswatter in this application. A how-to is in order and maybe even a wiki page.
Edit: You said you put 18V through it and it did not work as well? Were the two batteries (assuming you used two 9Vs) ran parallel or in series?

hi again
i tryed both parallel and series, but no matter what i did it din`t work out as i expected. so 9V is the "ultima" on the flyswatter(atleast the one i got)
gotta catch a meeting now!
ill maybe post a "how-to" later
see ya guys!

well... here it is
the flyswatter-igniter how-to thing =p
might help out and make people easily understand what is done(atleast i hope so).
so what do you guys think about the how-to this far?
and hubb, would you like to make a wiki of this for me? I dont have to much time at the computer. As long as you give Joakim "Jokke" Holmberg (me) a little credit it would be great!
and sjog. I do not have any link to the flyswatter i used. it was bought at a local store. It is a rechargeable 3v flyswatter. so if you find something similiar to that, im pretty sure they dont differ much

I've seen them at Wal-Mart, for those of you who want one. Pretty much any store that has a decent section for patio accessories and such.
