I feel sorry for anyone who attempts to rob your house in the near future :)

Very nice once again, love the snapvalve, what is it with European spudders and high pressure :D

I mean Galfisk, JSR and you would make one helluva team. :P

I say, could you draw up a quick diagram of the internals of that snap valve? I think that would help JSR, Hotwired, and Rag's work on their auto-piston ideas (we've basically been debating how to make a gun for which a pop-off style valve or some permutation of it is the primary firing valve).

Edit:  yeah, I meant to say, I love that gun! Definitely looking forward to seeing you put it through its paces.

Hoooooolllyy Crap. My jaw is still kinda loose! The bolt is ingenious, I WILL steal that for my next gun. The pop off is ingenious, but I don't get how it works!

I was goint to make a paintball gun very similar to this, and I am not sure what to do for the QEV actuating valve, as it will run off a high flow regulated Co2 bottle. The pilot volume would fill nearly as fast as it would empty, meaning lots of airloss. I slide valve is also not an option because of airloss. Anyone have a good link for an affordable 3-way?

lol my daughter is 8 months old so let say I have some experience.... BtB you ain't gonna like the way your life is going to change after that

again it is a very nice gun... I really like it looks so.... hmmm... modern... post more pics or a video....

could you give the ID of your barrel and tell what is the diameter of marbles you use ? I can't find the size that can fit good in 1/2

BTW I just got my QEV.... it's all shiny and looks so cool.... I am gonna try building my semiauto gun soon

Hailfire753 wait first of all what do you mean a slide valve or a sleeve valve ? It think you made a spelling mistake... becasue AFAIK slide valves are use on steam engines so you probably ment a sleeve valve.... right ?
So I am assuming you meant that a sleeve valve is wasting air ? AFAIK the sleeve valve blocks the air input while wenting the other side/pilot valve......

Yeash, sleeve valve. Called it a slide valve because of clide's gun.

Ditto - though from the way he described it, it sounds very similar to the designs we've come up with so far.
