Good job on the build, no clutch?, you can drift start it. Do the smart thing hook the govener back up, horizonal crankshaft engines make peak power at 3600 RPM's, ALL OF THEM! anything over will permaturely wear out your engine. Vertical crankshaft engines make peak power at 3400 RPM's. You can allways adjust the fast idel screw to get a little more out of it, but do yourself a favor, HOOK THE GOVENER BACK UP!! Just trying to help you out. Not saying you need my help, just good advice. Happy scooten! GOOD JOB!

yup, push starts away! i know that an ungoverned motor will wear itself out prematurely, but only if youre stupid with the throttle, i.e, revving it full bore for long periods of time. i have had an ungoverned engine that went full-throttle for over 2 years with regular use, and was still in very good condition and started on the first pull when i sold it. go easy on it, only revving the guts out of it when you need a power boost, and it will be fine.
