Well if JSR can show off the air-rifles he's ordered then I figure so can I. I've always had my eye on TDRs (Take Down Rifles) and been wondering about what to buy next, then I spotted this - the Air Arms S410 TDR.
So not semi-auto like JSR's lovely beast, but bolt action, but it does what I want, the stock comes off just by undoing the knurled silver bit in front of the butt plate, and then I've even got a bolt action multi-shot pistol. And this being France where they don't seem to care I was able to order the 14 ft/lbs version. I can't wait to slap my scope on it and try it out.
Mind you, I have got a few tweaks in mind, first thing is to stain the woodwork black, second is to pop on a bipod, and then if I'm still not happy I'm thinking about making my own composite stock.
Now to wait for the postman.
I don't has Semi-Auto (EDIT: but I do have a repeater)

That's a pretty cool rifle, but out of expirience, I can say that the bullbarrel (built in supressor) isn't what it should be.
Most of it is plastic and glued in the barrel, haha.
This is very error prone, as I shot out 2 complete sets of baffles within 2 months... (wich is why I've replaced the barrel).
Ps.
I myself have an air arms s410 xtra fac with an aftermarket enlengthened barrel (to replace the crap bullbarrel! ).
It shoots about 43 footpound now.
Pps.
Omagod! I've got a blue star!

Not that the above comment had anything to do with it but it did get me doubting slightly - grrr), but I was Googling round for ideas when I stumbled across the SKAN MINI M32 Mk4
which I'd completely forgotten about. Two phone calls later and another £100 on my credit card (ouch) and I'm now the proud "nearly-owner" of a new repeater air-rifle.

Now where's the post-girl?

Oh no don't don't, I'm already thinking, "should I ring back and get the AA?"
I need to win the lottery and get both.

I've always wanted a Skan, you lucky man! Apparently they were originally designed as semi-auto but this was blocked by Home Office "grey area" regulations, same reason you can't get the Monsoon or Revolution in the UK.
Much better choice than the AA if you ask me, good on ya

Ah, I feel better now, especially as the nice people from SKAN rang me this morning to ask me how I wanted it, if I wanted any accessories etc as they're built to order. Unfortunately that meant the credit card got a further beating (but hey the Euro's superstrong against the Pound at the moment), as I specced a suppressor and bipod while I was there).
They rang again this afternoon to say it had just been dispatched (they can obviously build them quick!!), and should be here within 48 hours.
Roll on Saturday.

Is it UK spec 12 ft/lbs or did they open it up for you? And will you be getting the briefcase too Mr. Bond?

Nah, it's Uk spec only 12ft/lbs is plenty as far as I'm concerned, I'm not planning on hunting with it or anything (and 12ft/lbs is plenty for that too). Also it keeps the gas consumption down, and as I'll be hand-pumping, that's kind of a priority. And also it meant I got it quicker as they have some standard "in stock" so to speak. They can always change it later though.
The briefcase? No I didn't go for that, I've got an alloy case here already, which I don't use, so I'll be using that instead, much classier.

It came, it's wonderful, a thing of beauty in a simple aggresive workman like kind of a way.
I've been shooting it all day today pouring with rain so I opened the French windows and lay prone inside with my various nock down targets outside.
Reloading is something of an acquired art though it took maybe 120+ pellets to get the smooth fast action you can see in the video.
I'm very glad I bought the Skan though and not the AA.
Oh and as for damage, well it's much the same as any and every other 12ft/lb regulated air-rifle.
EDIT: and JSR, yes you can have a go.
