I'm waiting for an adapter for my coax I'm working on.
I need to solder the last parts of my marble sniper project and the make a piston for it.
then I think I will modify my first pneumatic because I almost don't use it anymore.

yes but not if you have proper pipes and fittings (aswell as machined piston) it is going to run on argon.Brian the brain wrote:Yikes!!after that i get him to dig up some pipes for a 200bar piston cannon.
You must not have had a spudding mishap if you are that confident!
You be carefull with that okay?!?
The risk goes up along with the pressure!
mabe some helium shots also

- Getting my burst disk noise cannons finished, mounted and ready for summer. I've been too busy with IT stuff here lately.
- An "exihibition" clear chamber/barrel combustion gun....for show and respectable performance...nothing record breaking however.
- Optimized, high performance, big bore, mounted 1x combustion with all the bells and whistles....goal is 2/3 supersonic GB.
- Toying around with some hybrid ideas, 4x or lower. Goal would be a supersonic + GB with as short a barrel and low "x" as possible.

Cool I like that other people on this site like water rockets. what is the largest rocket you have made? I made a 6 litre but that crashed now I made a rocket with three 710ml pop bottles that is waiting for testing.daberno123 wrote: I've also discovered that my water rocket launcher has sprung a leak, so I'll be replacing that soon.
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

I've been going on numbers I'm getting from HGDT. Here's an example with a 6' barrel and 3x mix...spudfarm wrote:starman your GB gun should have a problem to get supersonic without 3m of barrel at 4x or lower.

...all with an entry level but optimized hybrid configuration.
I realize these are calculated but I've found HGDT to be pretty close on other smaller guns. I would like to give it a try sometime.

@ sticky tape, how did you make the launcher for your rockets, what is the release mechanism?
Today I am up to a new project (put the qev one on hold). I found an old co2 tank, (9 oz) that's threads fit perfectly on a 1/2-3/8 in adapter, so I am currently working on a hammervalve gun using the check valve on top of the co2 canister. It's going to be mounted on a wooden stock. I'm hittin up the flea market tommorow to see if I can find some cheap bolts fittings valves etc.

My launcher has a different stand.

Hi,
Current projects:
- Finish and present my DFTV golf ball accelerator
- Prototype my old idea, the Jet Gun, and see if I can get it to ignite
- At the same time, I have a scaled down experimental semi automatic in the works
- Finish my stirrup pump (should be able to do most of that tonight, really)
- And take my colleague shooting. Nobody knows about potato shooting here, so I guess it will get him pretty much staring in disbelief...
Regards
Soren

Eh, I've been overwhelmed at work so I have been working extra hours. That, and I had a wake and funeral to attend this weekend which would have been my only free time to work on CF.
I've been toying around with giving CF a 20' 3" barrel instead of a 10' 4" barrel. Wine bottles fit quite nicely
