I give you... THUNDER DOWN UNDER the golf ball piston cannon, it's specs are as follows

..........T.D.U..........
Range: Pending...
Operating Pressure: 100-130PSI
Barrel: 1.3m of 40mm Class 12
Chamber: 35cm of 80mm Class 18
Ammo: Golf balls
Valve: 50mm tee with 40mm porting
Pilot: 25mm modified sprinkler valve
Piston: PVC coupling

I googled 'thunder down under' to see if it was original, and It came up with this homosexual dance group called 'blue thunder down under' so I just want to stress that this gun has no affiliation with that particular group. :D

Heres the first of hopefully many videos, it's features me shooting a golf ball at a milk bottle full of water with explosive consequences, I stuck to 70PSI in the video so I wouldn't bounce it into a window :D

Ok I did it again with more milk bottles, with somewhat average results, I guess it proves how good water is at stopping projectiles, It blasted the lid off the 3rd one but didn't go through it.

I went out to some bush north of Perth today with Carlman and we shot a few different things including a TV,

Notice the sound difference when I plug it into Carls 1.2m Suppressor for shooting this full bottle.

This last video started too late and missed the action, but u get the idea...

and if anyone asks me if my bell reducer is pressure rated ill shoot them

Sweeet gun and even betta coz its aussie!!
Just one question, is the tee connected to the elbow with pipe because it looks green or is that just green primer. sorry sounds like a stupid question but jst want to check. Also i love the handle, is that the handle off a drill?

You can only really get green pipe glue over here, theres blue stuff but its for DWV I think.

Next video I think I'll line up like 5 milk bottles and see how many the gb can get through...anyone wanna hazard a guess? Also I might make a tutorial on how to make this gun, dya reckon anyone would be interested?

45,000 people were interested in mine, go for it. Though it's really difficult explaining it to people who have no idea of the principles involved and use DWV pipe etc.

I reckon it will pierce 3 and knock the other two over, but just a wild guess because im not very experienced. Also i reckon it would be a good idea to make a tutorial, im not sure that many people on SpudFiles would actually make a gun exactly like it, but i'd sure as hell watch it just to see how you did it and use any good ideas you had on constructing it to help me with further constructions i make.

Alright M.J.P I'll put you down for 3 :D

Why dun ya think ppl on spudfiles would make one like this? Because of the cost of 80mm pipe?

No, i think it will be helpful to make a tutorial, and i'm thinking of making one like this, but they might not use the exact dimensions if you know what i mean. On some tutorials i've watched people put down exact dimensions that you 'have to use' or else it won't work. For example i'm stealing your idea of the drill handle :D because i happen to have one lying around and i think its a great idea and i will probably use make my piston valve like yours but im thinking of downsizing the whole gun to keep funds down. So yeah, i take my comment back about people not making the exact gun, probably a stupid thing to say considering im building one quite like this, but they just may not have the exact same dimensions because it is sometimes hard to find the exact product you need. Anyway a tutorial on SpudFiles and/or Youtube and/or Instructables would be FAB.

i'd watch it anyways..

Then it's settled a tutorial I shall make, I wonder if using a drill handle is a Watto original 8)
