GOLF T's...i didnt see them in the forum with much ammo but i just thought this up...you have a normal regular golf t that you buy by the 50 or 100 in the sports section...you take it and look at the part where the golf ball sits on and brill a hole right threw the other end with the exact size bit to fit a nail in. you take a nail that fits perfectly threw and shove it all the way down untill its flust with the golf resting place...so bassically put a nail threw a golf t to make a dart...effective!!!

im not sure if you need a thing at the end like a paper wing thing or w/e but just try it...it got me all hipped up :)

I think i remember seeing golf T's on the forum somewhere... :?

But im pretty sure most golf Tas are already "dart" shaped.... They are made to be stuck in and pulled out of the ground in quick succession. If you ask me having nails through the Tas would be pointless and time consuming

Only pic I could find of a T... or in this case many T's

The only thing I'd not be too happy with is how balanced it is just like that, if I was using them I'd weight the nose somehow.

I've been using these for years, the accuracy is beyond shite by the way. So they're only good at extremely close range, i.e <6".

Wrap some electrical tape toward the end of the T until it fits your bore. That will give you extra weight to.

I did that, eventually I just started encasing them in polymorph, leaving only the tip exposed.

Tape around the fat part of the T? That's the wrong end to add weight. You need more weight in the nose. If you wrap the tape around the front end then the T really isn't doing much. Might as well just wrap the tape around the front of the nail.

The dart described in the OP will be ass heavy and will pretty much instantly do a 180 and fly backwards.

I think the best dart for small bore is welding rod with a paper cone taped on the end, they fly perfect and are very powerful

You can also heat up the welding rod and melt it into a plastic bead that's the right size for your bore. This is very similar to blow darts that were very common back in the '80s. Just get a necklace with plastic beads like at a Goodwill store or get the beads at a craft store like Michael's. These suckers will penetrate 1/2" plywood right up to the ball.

You should make an expendable sabot for the golf tee, or else it's shot out at approximately 30 degrees downwards.

Sabot = a little piece of paper towel wrapped around the tip, so 2 sides of the the golf tee fits snugly in the barrel.
