Thanks
Flow isnt really being constricted at all, GGDT says the difference is about 10fps which is nothing. The smaller porting also allows the valve to open faster..
And my dad was just saying no more for the day, it was getting kinda late.

Good job Bob! :D

Impressive damage on that 2x4, I'm sure you'll punch it all the way through soon.

Thanks
Ive already succeeded in breaking 2 by 4s with smaller cannons, I just used extremely heavy ammo.
But I want to do it without that luxury, just a golf ball and 100psi.
Ill see what the extra bracing does to the result in half an hour.

Very nice cannon, the power is very cool. That dent in the 2x4 is really impressive

Now about the reliability of bike pumps. I am in the same boat as you, not enough dinero to buy an air compressor, and I actually bought that exact same pump. It worked pretty well for a while (there's that stupid schrader receiver that switches back and forth from the needle to the schrader thing). I do not recommend taking it over 100 psi however, because in my case, the pump would very quickly leak back down to one hundred, and now lower to about 90 psi. Also, the top handle has snapped while getting it to 120 (by bouncing). Just be gentle to it and you should be fine though, and have fun destroying things!

Umm i think you might of got a slightly different pump
I can take mine to 160 with ease(maybe im just really strong 8) )
But yes the schrader and needle thing switching is kind of annoying.
And about the handle snapping, I have realized that it is a little bendy but I just keep my hands close to the middle and its fine.

And guess what, I broke a 2 by 4  Twice to be excact
The pressure and ammo are the same, 100psi and a golfball. It just needed more bracing.

Yeah the vid is a little dark
I did turn the light on to help but it wasnt to affective as shown above.
But if you lean in real close to the computor you can kinda see whats going on.

Very Cool, 2x4's are tough to break. I'm glad your pump works better, I must have gotten a bad one. Yeah, I have learned to pump holding the middle part of the pump (now that half of it's gone  ).
