I seem to like both equally.

metal, for your modification reason and the pressure rating
and
pvc because it is much lighter and easier to modify as far as cutting, drilling holes, etc.

but me making this gun isn't a statement against either type, so don't think it is...

I would have to disagree with you on that... There are plenty other members that make my projects look like piles of baby sh!t. I appreciate the comment though

Right, because this single cannons is enough to outrank him from the "Deathray" or 20x GB hybrid, or solar's awesome invention, or any of the other remarkable cannons made.

STHORNE, you are great, no offense meant towards you, you have done great stuff and are a well valued member, just n-strike, why do you say that?

lol...thanks you guys  didn't know I was so "liked"...

EDIT: distance = not quite sure, but at 120 psi and at a 50* angle...I would hypothesize 175+ yards.

That is awesome...how come your chamber is rounded at the end? Doesn't look like a cap or anything...

You can buy copper canisters pre-made like that. They are used for bath-tub plumbing systems to store (correct me If I am wrong) iron waste contained in the running water..

At least, that's where I salvaged mine from. I don't know how much they cost because this gun is made from "scrap" parts lol (and it's salvaged, so that doesn't help). But I'm sure they are no more then a couple bucks each.

I prefer to use them vs copper pipe with a soldered/compressed cap because the reliability and pressure rating is far greater than that of a self-made tank.

8 bucks seems a little high but you could be right. I just looked online and my local fleet farm sells them for $6.50 each.

EDIT: Ooh! And please tell us more about your fridge compressor..

I give you permission to temporarily go off-topic lol.
