B2TB by BTB
Yes, it's finished!!
BAD 2 the Bone ( B2TB for short)
My latest creation..
Just short enough to be called a sawed-off ( kind of my trademark isn't it?)
Fixed reservoir, with one-way valve INSIDE the reservoir, for a cleaner and shorter look.
The main valve is a modded QEV, piloted by a hammer-valve.
The body is made out of hardwood and epoxy-resin.
Caliber is .50, I have about 100 leadballs for it.
I can get about 6 shots out of it.
Great power too..
I'll fully test it tomorrow..
This is also my entry for the new competition!

Awesome! I don't exactly like the looks of having that schrader valve sticking out like that, but other than that it is beautiful. How is the power of your shots? Maybe chrony them, to check out the power drop.
edit: by the way, what kind of paint is that? I heard about using auto body underbelly paint, which seems like the only thing that would stick sufficiently well and not get scraped off.

Do not look back, and grieve over the past, for it is gone;
Do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come;
Live life in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.

Not yet.
I have just finished it.I have a thread in the pneumatic discussion section that does contain some damage pictures..
But not with it's current barrel...so that would not be accurate..
Nice to hear you think it's cool...everybody else hates my guns...
paint is the scratchy kind I think..
And it;s not a schrader..it's a QD.
I know what you mean, but I pretend it's "not part of the gun"
There is 1/4"chackvalve screwed in from the back of that fitting...So I already tried to hide the ugly parts.

Yes, I can see the Terminator shooting that from his Harley.. 8) ..and looks just like a BTB creation. Excellent as usual!
Has the competition gotten out of the starting blocks yet? I haven't heard anything about it in a couple of weeks.

It reminds me of a pirate like gun. Very nice, it would probably get my vote in the contest. Good looks, and 6 shots!

Awesome! Personally I would have gone for pump action as opposed to break barrel but I can't fault your workmanship, let's see some videos!

very very nice, so the QEV and hammer valve basically make it work like a PCP air gun ?

Not quite, in a PCP the air released by the hammer valve fires the projectile. In this case, the hammer valve empties the pilot chamber briefly, actuating a quick exhaust valve which fires the projectile. Since the hammer valve is only open for a brief instant, the QEV can reseal, aloowing for more than one shot per chamber.ajdevi92 wrote:very very nice, so the QEV and hammer valve basically make it work like a PCP air gun ?

You can say that. The reason he can afford multiple shots is that the chamber is pressurised to just over 500 psi.
