Hey everyone,
Just wondering what the price of fuel is in your area since it has now become a hot-topic in the news of today.
Diesel averages around £1.33 ($2.66) a litre,
Petrol averages around £1.25 ($2.50) a litre over here.

$1.41 a litre for regular I live in Nova Scotia aka New Scotland Canada. Funny just watching the news there was a report on fuel prices I came on here and saw this topic.
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

when I first started driving about 8 years ago it was right around 99 cents a gallon...Wow, I knew that fuel pices were cheaper in the US than over in England, but I had no idea they were that much cheaper!
we have been spoiled I guess because everyone I know is freaking out since gas has quadroupled in a few years, like its a crisis. Guess its hard to complain when people elswhere are still paying more than double what we pay for gas.

Well, I remember, years ago (maybe 8 years or so) there "was a gas price war" in eastern Canada. At that time I remember paying something like $0.12/liter. Seems like it was almost free looking at the prices today.

Wow, it seems to vary greatly between still quite relatively cheap and really outrageous.
Fuel prices would be only be £0.50 - £0.60/liter if the government weren't adding a ridiculous amount of tax ontop of it. Oh well, it's their only source of money these days.
The spudding community should start work on an alternately powered vehicle!
Maybe this summer when I finally get a lathe and a mill.
