Okay if it's alright with PCGUY you can enter one cannon per category, only one and it can't be the same cannon. You also have to pay an entry fee for each cannon.
I wouldn't mind that, don't see any problem with it.

If it's okay, I will post the nomination post for the BBMG/launcher Contest here soon so we can have plenty of time to get some good BBMG's/launchers nominated. I am currently assembling a team of judges for the competition.
Judges so far: Myself, Imortal87, and maybe spudfarm. I am still working out the list of judges so no decision is final right now.
EDIT: MrCrowley would you like to be a judge on the panel? I am looking for someone who has been active in the pneumatic section and you seem to be.

How long will this be given.
It has to be a reasonable length of time..
DavidVaini, I guess that only non-entering members can be judges?

no, those who enter can still be judges. The amount of judges will be high enough to sway away from bias. (For example imortal87 could enter his RC-P240, but the other judges would have to agree the gun should go in.)
Also the nomination time period as well as the voting will be open for a while to allow for everyone to have a chance to nominate/vote.
I might submit a BBMG, I might not, but even If I think its sweet and I want to choose it as a final choice, the other judges may not agree.
Also after those checks and balances are in place, there will be other checks and balances. One example is you cannot vote for your own creation if it gets chosen. This prohibits people from maxing the points on their own gun.

Good idea on the BBMG contest. Now I'm going to have to make some videos of the ones I,ve made.

Will popular vote be a factor in the judging and competition? I can understand the chair of judges to judge on preformance, but will there also a field that any member can judge on, like for the most popular cannon?

For the BBMG/Launcher contest you could make your BBMG right now. The gun has to have been made in the last year and have been posted on spudfiles. So get to work!Larda wrote:We need to get this contest started so everyone can start working on their canons.
lol
oh and MrCrowley, I think I will make you a judge then.
