1/4" TEE hybrid question

Harness the power of precision mixtures of pressurized flammable vapor. Safety first! These are advanced potato guns - not for the beginner.

hi, while working on Larda it can be quite "lonely" when i just looks on parts and don't shoot anything.

so i decided to make a tiny hybrid with a chamber made out of a 1/4" galvanized TEE, two reasons: one is the mentioned above and the other is to test the meter.

what i was going to ask was about the strength of those fittings, the only thing i know about it is that it is a normal galvanized TEE that is made so bad that it is hard to screw things into it.

are those good up to 30x? small diameter should help to reach that mix.

The highest I've ever put in one of those 1/4" fittings was unregged nitrogen (~2200psi). Not the smartest thing I ever did, but it held. I believe their burst pressure is well over 3000psi, simply because they're so small.

And really, if it does fail, what do you have to worry about?

That's not your vid is it? wait did you already make the hybrid?
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

Uh, what happened in the vid? It looked like it made a small hole, but what did you shoot, and how was the rest of the damage? Also, could you post a little more information about the actual cannon? Either way, that's pretty cool for such a small gun.

EDIT: Oops. I just found the cannon's post. My bad...
