This is a cannon that my girlfriend and I built today.
She built most of it, and really liked learning about my hobby.
Pshhh...she says she is going to get better than me

Chamber:1/2" sch 40 steel
Barrel 3/8" sch 40 steel
valve:ball valve

Well, that's not that hard, is it?

...Just kidding, honest! :D

If you can get her interested, then go for it - although I suspect she might not have the drive to take it up on her own. Not many girls do - it comes from a lack of testosterone, and not much interest in blowing crap up.

It's not the most impressive or advanced cannon ever, but few people's firsts are.

Because of course, things like that never happen...

Heck, I'd give that money just to find a girlfriend that would put up with my madness for more than 3 seconds, let alone one who's interested in spudding.

In short, my luck with the ladies is not great. Oh well, I suppose my student finances wouldn't stretch to funding air rifles, mad projects and a girlfriend.

Very nice move there Frank...getting your girl involved  Some extra cool points for Frank. Typically they like to watch the guys doing what guys do with their cannons, guy-watching so to speak...with their really big guns....

After a while though, they get bored and start to mumble things relating spudguns and child-like behavior, boys will be boys, etc etc. and move on to other more interesting truly girl topics.

Kudos if you can keep her really interested for any significant period of time... See if she would be open to having her own ID on Spudfiles. That would be a good indication of her intentions...

frankrede is Cool. He has like a girlfriend and probably a job and stuff.
Wish I was like him. (just Jking).

Closest I've come to compatability lately is I met a woman who made these great paintings.
I thought "she's nice and pretty".
Next I thought "man those must take hours. Hmmm..." and
 She could have her art eisel next to my workbench if we got together. Brilliant!!!
I am kind of hoping she got divorced for spending too much time on it. That would be great too!

BTW, Damage shots?

Amazing how that works huhh Frank -> job = girlfriend ... ... Who would have thunk it?

I'm not sure everyone will know how to act with a real female spudder hanging around...the only one I know of, Joannardway hasn't been on in a while and was before I was actively posting.

You might have to keep your eye on some of the hound dogs around here...

Hope my humor conveyed ok on this text based medium.
That was from a funny sarcastic expression my brother says in a stupid like "dork" voice. (funny)

He says a few that really crack me up or get a point across:
For side jobs he goes "How would you like to may a clean twinny?"(fast)
If I'm not working he goes "Uh, work is for f*ggots duh"
Or I ask hows the new guy at work, "my probation offica says if I miss diss appointment..."(fast)
I slept over he said just don't knock on our door like,"Uh Jane are you o.k.?, I heard ya moaning."

Etc., brothers are funny/cool sometimes!
We should have a voice clip to add just short voice clips maybe.
Sarcasm would convey easier/ be more possible 8)

EDIT: One thing I noticed is that's a safe looking cannon! It could hold probably 600psi to part ratings too! (?)
Hmmm...someone concerned extra about safety? 8)

Oh yes, I picked up on it...

Yeah audio would be nice... have to keep it to low res, short clips though so people wouldn't use it as a music transfer device.

or have some way to identify sarcasm in text...

like this *sarcasm* duhh...*sarc*

or if there was some way to have the opposite of italics, slanted like this \
that could be a button, and text like that would be understood as sarcasm

Nice one :?

At the risk of sounding blatantly sexist, would you really want someone with the hormonal instability of a woman with knowledge of and access to spudguns? I'd sleep with one eye open if I were you ;)
