W00t, Uninstalled EVERYTHING and now I have Bitdefender as my primary security system, I am currently instally Zonealarm for a backup firewall. Ill take a screenie when im done installing.
I like bitdefender alot because it has 3 different scanning options, quik scan( yes its spelled like that) deep scan(System files and registry) full scan (everything on the computer) and you can also turn on this thing called gaming mode which allows internet connection and cookies, but puts everything else on lockdown.

if were still wondering about security i agree Ad-Aware by lavasoft it great, also spybot search and destroy, along with HijackThis. i usually run all of these periodically and have never had any problems
Also i thought that Kaspersky was the leader, but that depends on the criteria also.

Because I run my desktop on 1440x900, Photobucket keeps rescaling it, and it looks rubbish if that happens, so I've uploaded it as an attachment here:
Yes... that is one of the stills from the US Navy's railgun tests.
Until recently, the background was this picture of the Z machine, but I came across the railgun image in my pictures again, and decided to switch my desktop back to that.
I tend to steer clear of desktops based around people, because it can say things I don't want it to - instead, I go for things with some "wow" factor even though they normally need explaining.
At one point I did have a desktop I photoshopped of most of the characters from the various computer games I owned in a giant firefight, which was pretty cool - but I'm not even sure I still have that file.
As you can see, I have a folder called "General Junk" (It was at one time called "The Random folder of random crap", but some programs complained about the length of the name), which is where I clean my desktop off to.
If you look at the image closely enough, you can see it's a laptop, running Windows Vista (ugh, but I don't have anything to change it for).
Screen: 19" Widescreen
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, running at 2x 2 Ghz
Motherboard: Santa Rosa, whatever that is.
RAM: 2 Gb
HDD: 100 Gb (I have a 460 Gb external drive too)
Graphics: NVidia 8600M GS, for which I can never find updated drivers when a game insists on them.

I have the standard Vista background, nothing too fancy. I do plan on getting a nice screenie of the pyro from TF2 and using that at some point...
