Hi all.

This is a project that i finished some time ago.

Its a springloaded ballvalve pneumatic airgun, wich fires by a push of the trigger.

I load it with about 8Bar, that equals 116PSI.

It's quit powerful, and distinct.

the pipe is shiny-chrome copper-pipe and the rest is some scrap metal i found at home.

well, hit me with your thoughts, but please spare me the "give it a paintjob" comments, I do can count that out myself.

Very nice. It would probably look even better with a stock on it.

If possible, you should take the pressure higher. Also, some damage pics would be nice.

That's one heck of a screen door spring you have there...it is a unique feature however...maybe a little out-of-place looking....maybe you could hide it inside another pipe there.

Otherwise, looks like clean and solid construction.

Amazingly nice construction!. I started work on a springoaded ball valve gun. Better stock, everything else is crudier:( I've had a lot of trouble getting the springloaded set up right.

hey that really good looking gun - it seems that it can take 300 psi easily

in case you want to improve performance consider buying a QEV valve

With that spring I bet the valve is opened to full barrel diameter in less than 10 milliseconds.

That is a very similar spring loaded setup to the one i used on a cannon I posted a while ago, it does improve the power over just a ball valve incredibly, the only difference to mine is the trigger setup and the type of spring.

-Yes, it´s a quick and distinct opening of the valve.

POLAND_SPUD; Yes i know. I just haven't made my self a proper shockpump yet :).

starman: i like the exposed spring, i mean, in this case it does a lot to the appearance in a good manner i think.

hubb017: yes, perhapse.

Nice gun, but I do agree, make a stock, and how is the accuracy.

the accuracy is pretty good. But a huge setback is that i don´t have any good type of ammo. I have though of crafting some slugs but i haven't tried it yet.
