Hmm, are you going for the old Splinter Cell look in that second photo?
You'll especially have managed that if you fit the burst disk grenade launcher.

Nice work.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

i always thought the F2000 was an awesome looking gun, right up there with the Steyr AUG, Glock 18 and L85A2 (looks crap without the SUSAT... but with it.... 8) )

oh and i like the paintjob...

@ALIHISGREAT: I don't particularly like the way the AUG looks. There are good looking variants (Here, for example), but the standard variant just looks too skeletal to me.

I have no doubt that helps with the weight, but it doesn't make it look great.

The L85 LOOKS good, but it's a terrible firearm. Back in the early '50s, the British conducted research on a bullpup design called the EM2, which would've been a first-class assault rifle. However, it was to be chambered for the proposed .280 cartridge, and NATO weapons standardization called for the use of the American .308 (7.62 by 51mm) cartridge, which killed the development of the weapon.
Completed projects:
CA1 SMSS Basic Inline
CA3 PDAB Airburst Cannon

Current Project: Bolt action rifle (25x140mm + 1in shot)

yea, i know its a little late in the thread, but the paintjob makes it look so un-toy like its astounding. kind of like when i painted my JG MP5SD6 flat black. it makes them look soooooo much cooler.

anyway, my only problem with buying that gun is the magazine well...... have you had any problems with it?

yes I have had problems with it... you can simply file off a small part of the magazine... its on the top of it... the thing you really have to watch out for is the magazine catch... it is made out of pot metal and breaks.. easy fix if you make your own.

it was developed for a 4.something mm round then NATO standardised with the 5.56mm round, not the 7.62 as the assult rifle round.... so everything in then EM2 was changed/modified to fit 5.56..... then it was discovered that the L85A1 was crap, and HK found that it fired when dropped so HK were contracted to 'fix' the problems and we have the L85A2 today, which is still pretty bad, for example it can't be fired left handed at all, causing problems when firing round corners etc.... although it still looks cool and the L86A2 LSW is a beast.... (i get to fire blanks through it on automatic.... but not live on the range  )

and Rag, i think it looks cool in whichever configuration, although i like the 9mm version shown well in the vid here:
