Small P.A.C. 5

Ever wanted to make that legendary P.A.C. 5 but didn't have the money? or the time? or even the space required to store it? Well what I have made is a smaller version of the P.A.C. 5, as you may be able to see there is no barrel, this is because I dropped it and the barrel broke off, ohwell

But I think that it looks even better now, I painted it red and blue for no apparent reason, but it still looks nice. The chamber is 3"x4.5' and the barrel is 1.5"x4'. I used a snap in schrader valve to fill it and a ball valve to fire it. NOTE: I DID NOT USE A PISTON IN THIS CANNON!!!!! INSTEAD I USED JUST A SMALL PEICE OF STIFF NEOPRENE, IT SEALS MUCH BETTER THAN A PISTON WOULD AND HOLDS 60 PSI OF AIR OVER NIGHT!

What kind of paint did you use. ANd you got a smidget of blue on the red, but i like the way it looks

Im currently building a PAC 5. It should be complete but I'm having problems with the piston, maybe, by some grace of god you guys could help me. I built it to specs from xinventions but the air isnt getting past my piston. I have no problem getting it to seal against the barrel, but when i open the valve for a second all the air escapes, which just tells me that its only filling behind the piston....ITS DRIVING ME NUTS I DONT KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT!!!! any ideas ?

You may need to drill a Small equalization hole in the piston.

check out the how-to section if your curious about how pistons operate. it might even manage to solve your problem within a few minutes.

u dont have a big enough exuast valve try 1 inch sprinkler valve

Lol... 1" balls valves exhaust better than a 1" sprinkler Khan, they just open slower...

WOW...idk know why but love that cannon. infact my second cannon will mostlikely be a piston valve cannon..for expence reasons..and i would like to try it out.

wht u make ur piston out of?
