me and my dad built this gun the other day... its my first time we made one.. and im thinking about putting on a copper barrel and riggin up something for a scope..
It has a 1 inch barrel on it and im gonna cut it to add an adapter for different size barrels... It also has a rainbird cp 100 modified valve... It has a brace for support when it kicks.. and thats about it..
Tell me what u think of me and my dads first gun..

for a first it is very good. i suggest you take a can of dark red spray paint to it.
i cant point out anything bad about it, it looks sound to me.

only bad thing i see is the pressure guage mounted where it could easily be struck......
i was going to say dead space...... but..... actually....... there is less than in a normal over-under.... so......

A really solid build for your first. I agree with all other comments, primarily your tank size...way too large for your barrel, and your gauge in a precarious location.
Otherwise, good use of a modded sprinkler valve and nice stand-off and hose clamp install. I wouldn't fool with copper on this gun. Design and build another one made of all metal/copper.

I would have just put the sprinkler inline with the barrel, you'd save on an elbow that way and it reduces dead space.
But good for a first attempt.

Its a very nice gun and you are lucky then your father likes to build spudgun with you...
the only thing i would say its then the barrel is not enough long compared to the chamber size.
