I was wondering what everybody's favorite ammo is. I've looked for alternatives other than potatoes, found a few, haven't tried em yet though... post your favorites! and even how to make a favorite slug if you want to!

{please notify what diameter your barrel is wen you post, and if your gun is hybrid, combustion, or pneumattic.} :D

3.4" PVC - 12g Co2
15mm copper - 1/2" BBs with a little tape to stop rolling.
3/4" ice slugs cast in 3/4" pvc spare pipe - makes a solid ice lump on walls that won't come off before it melts :D

good old spuds are still the ideal ammo though (for me)

-tight fitting
-light
-not much penetration power

so perfect for my small back garden :)

oh and P.S. there is a whole sticky on ammo ideas  http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/ammo-ideas-t1724.html

http://www.ideafinder.com/history/inven ... l.htm-that is a superball, basically a fu*king big bouncy ball that if thrown on the ground, can go over a 3 story building.

Ice shells cast in 2" pillbottles and mixed with coolaid. if shot at a hard object they disentigrate and it makes the air taste good. also pocket vortex foot balls and snow balls in the winter. golf balls wrapped in some sort of wadding also work well in 2", ask my neighbors...

I use some kind of 2" thin wall PVC (cut in 4" segments) wrapped just the slightest bit in duct tape. Then i put an aluminum foil ball in the bottom, cover one end with duct tape, and lubricate it. This shell alone, which is extremely light, will go at least 100 ft. generally i load it with golf balls or lit smoke bombs for a cool effect. golf balls tend to go out of sigt though, and this is with a simple 3" to 2" combustion gun.
