My French is very rusty, but even then, I'm 95% certain that a better translation of "Whatever will be, will be" to French would be "Ce qui sera, sera".ALIHISGREAT wrote:its french.... unless i missed an accent?
...I think, anyway. I only got a B in GCSE French, which I did 3 years ago, and haven't gone to any pains to keep in practise. Who needs to when you can just shout slowly and loudly while gesturing?
(By the way, I'm kidding... I at least try to make sure that when going abroad that I know enough of the language to be able to apologise for not knowing any more.)
Yes, but so was: "I am the walrus, goo goo gujoob" - doesn't make any more sense.anyway, its from a song, give me a break
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

although i do know 'que sera' exists in spanish, but i'm pretty sure it has a different meaning.

"only the last two feet hear the end is black cellular core"
"I'm taking it to 300 psi"

They've started now. The first beam was about an hour ago.ALIHISGREAT wrote:so.... they are testing today... i'm excited
There was a quote on the radio from the live broadcast which made me laugh:
"We've stopped the beam. I don't entirely understand why, but it's something to do with a dump."
It's not really as funny in text, it was mostly the way it was said.
@Drex: Oh well, everything will be OK then!

Just as long as I get a go on the portal gun before all things go spaghetti shaped into a hole of doom I don't mind who's running the show
