well i have some insate ammo right now but the ones that gave me most joy would be:

700g lead slug with a aluminium core cast inside a steel pipe that fits my barrel.
a 500g slug that i made like this: took a 1" copuling ang filled it up with tiny nuts and heated it to get flux on all the nuts inside there. then you find a washer that is a tight fit in the copuling (two) and a bolt that fits to the two washers.you put in a bolt through a washer and set the copuling on top op the washer again, than you fill it with lead and screw it all tougheter with the nut/bolt/washers.
a 170g hardener steel dart with fins..
golfballs (duh)

the aluminium cored lead slug is really easy, a huge lead slug with a hole drilled in it that it set in water so it is close to get over the top (to keep it from melting) then you pour aluminium in almost to the top and lead to seal it up. when you grind it in an angle it looks like a bullet with a special tip on.

specs on my gun:
hybrid, 6m barrel with a ID of 42mm, chamber out of steel with 12.5cm ID and 60cm long. mixes i am using is up to 15x soon :D

so sorry for bad explainment but i have to get to bed NOW!

yea bed time sweet!!! lol
i keep getting pains in my back and head staying up part the night last night cuz i need new CHEAP things to shoot with my 2 inch barrel lol
i was reading tennis balls cut in half with a nut and bolt in the middle
any ways try stress balls not that bad goes as far as water balloons and it safe to shoot around little kids ( lol think about it) just add tape to the ball to make it fit

tennis ball cut in half - wouldn't that be the same diameter as a normal tennis ball? or do you mean just cram it down in there. if its the latter, i wouldn't expect much accuracy or range on that.

i know a good wadding is those squishy balls you use in the pool. just make sure to get it slightly wet, otherwise it will char and eventually melt.

i found about 4 stairway handrails at a house that was getting gutted. cut them into 2 inch lengths and they fit perfectly in the 2in barrel pneumatic. pretty good penetration on wooden fences but they go on forever over my lake lol

I like using caulk tubes and filling 'em with water then putting a bunch of small sharp rocks in the water. but first, I trim the tube so that it's not full length. If you make it about 2-3 inches long, that's sufficient. Once the rocks and water are in there, I freeze 'em and I've put 'em through two layers of 3/4" plywood from 60' away.

My favorite ammo is potatoes but my second favorite (for destruction) is roller covers from painting. If you cut one about 2.5" long and fill it with rocks/water and then freeze it, it'll go through plywood with ease. They fit perfectly in a 2" sch. 40 barrel. The best is if you've already painted with 'em and the paint is dry. that makes the foam a little harder. I then wrap some tape on the bottom end to seal the barrel or sometimes I use old socks or rags or shirts.

Sorry to kinda go off topic, but SPUDFARM- How'd you melt the aluminum? I've tried doing it with my grill and I just can't get it hot enough even if i leave it on there for like 30 minutes. How'd you do it?

1/2"- AA batteries and bolts (both do heavy damage for point blank-distruction)

3/4"- thickened epoxy slugs

1"- shaped wooden slugs

and taters uh course!

another good one is to take a cut-off of your pvc that's the size of your barrel and grease the inside really well. then, duct tape one end off so it is relatively well sealed. After you've done that, fill it with concrete. when it's hardened, you should be able to push the slug out of the pipe (if you greased it well). Then, wrap a l'il tape around one end and grease that sucker up.

I'm involved with construction companies, so it's easy for me to mold these things up. you could also mold metal in a heat resistant mold (i'm a certified welder... don't ask  ). either that or plaster (put rocks and stones in it).

You wouldn't believe the damage these b*stards can do

i do have to say it'll take more than just a grill to melt it.
i hear you need a home foundry or an oxy acetalye torch

to be exact its melting point is 1220.58 °F
