shoot the ends out of them with my air rifle so they fly off into the distance. Slightly costly fun, but good for entertaining people

hmm I am suprised... I did a similar thing with 8g cartridges when I was 7 or 8.. I pierced the ends with a nail & hammer but CO2 leaked out slowly...

I hope btb never has an accident like you had...

You're probably weren't punching the ends out cleanly or quickly enough.
The nozzles on the cartridges are somewhat tighter than the .177" calibre of my air rifle, which means the pellets force fit themselves through the "nozzle", knocking the plug out completely and then losing themselves inside the cartridge - both clean and quick.

Also, don't try that kind of thing with nails and hammers, getting the CO2 exhaust on your hands is very bad.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

hey, sorry to bring up even a slightly old topic, but I finally found a way to carry this thing around without that stupid plastic bottle.

the bb goes in the small bottle, and the bottle goes into the silver pendant.

it's about 2 inches long overall and is just on a simple ball-chain

Anybody Mormon out there in the land of spudfiles? If so, fyi, it's a container for consecrated oil. We had an extra laying around the house and it fit nicely.
