Just a "comic" I made over the last couple days. I can't even remember why I drew it other than boredom.
It's the story of a series of weird events that got me into this hobby. It should be noted that everything depicted here actually happened at one point or another.
Image size is 1024x9472, 659k. Hopefully it doesn't crash any browsers.
So without further ado, - BandCamp
(Feel free to share any of your own stories here, just try to keep them hobby-related).
A potato gun story of sorts... xkcd style

That has to be commended Fnord, great job mate

Cool story - I should probably relate the story of how I got into spudding sometime, but that's something for another day...
Given it's basically a B&W image, you might be able to bring the filesize down quite a lot by using a GIF format instead of a JPG one.

Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
Great story, i like it. There is no way i could create a comic that good, im not that creative so i cant do that.

@Rag I'm sure everyone will look forward to your story, what with your blatantly british sense of humour and everything.
I'll see if I can compress it any more tonight also.
Liki: Well believe it or not everything just kinda fell into place on this one, I didn't have to make up many interesting quotes or anything. You should give it a try someday.

I'll be honest, it's nowhere as interesting as yours._Fnord wrote:@Rag I'm sure everyone will look forward to your story, what with your blatantly british sense of humour and everything.
Although I could entertain you with tales of fact, I'm currently writing a fiction anyway. I have to admit that it's set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
I'm using it to flesh out the background of a warband for Inquisitor (yes, the warband made of the figures I'm slowly sculpting).
The first section can be found here, if you're really desperate for some reading to fill some time with. :tongue3:
The out of character explanation can be found here.

Basically just a 1.5" x 3' barrel full of water (stopped up with a plastic bag sometimes to keep it in there).By the way, what was that 'secondary function' I saw?
Well, I didn't think I'd get that comment for a stick figure comic, though I did draw vader with only the pen/eraseralso, you are one awesome drawer!

I tried converting it to .gif, but it doesn't look as good in monochrome, and an 8 bit format results in a 1.2mb image.
I only got the compression I did by setting the JPG quality really really low ( quality level 3 out of 12, even 2 looks decent but doesn't reduce the size a huge amount).
Thanks for the comments everybody.
