possible very low x basketball hybrid?

Harness the power of precision mixtures of pressurized flammable vapor. Safety first! These are advanced potato guns - not for the beginner.

heres the pipe
its plenty thick and heavy which is why i think it should be ok for a hybrid and able to have some screws and stuff mounted on it.

I'd try it.

Standing back a few hundred feet of course :)
You might want to make a sturdy plywood box with one side open to direct any shrapnel away from you in case it explodes.
As to how you're going to get a burst disk that large to seal well, I have no idea.

Ideally you would want 10" for a basketball. If you stay with PVC, keep the hybriding at 2x or lower.
