Inline vortex block materials
Ok so i made a replica lower reciever for an M4 out of wood for a project involving a muzzle loading marble gun but i quickly scrapped that plan and was thinkin of making an inline vortex block BBMG but here is my problem what do i use for the vortex block materials? my options are wood that is coated in epoxy for longer life or bondo. here is my design let me know if it needs to revisit the drawing board.

im talking about 3/4" pipe cut about an inch long.. two holes drilled into it.. one for the barrel and one for the air inlet.. Then you can use epoxy to keep the barrel from wobbling.
for high pressure and long life, inline vortex's should really be cast out of aluminum, but if that isn't an option get a piece of thickwalled brass or aluminum and drill the ports into it, then solder the input (chamber) and output (barrel) pipes to it.
ones i made one out of som crapy wood and it only shot for 30 secound i took it out and it had so many dents and bb stuck in it dont use wood it $ucks

For a while. The trick is to make more then 1 so you can swap it out quickly when they don't work anymore. Then repair the worn one with guess what......lets all say it together..........BONDO!!!! YEA BONDO. The magical creamy gui fix all stuff.pocket wrote:lol that's what i'm told! would it be able to with stand bb's slamming against it.
