This is my new sniper i made it this afternoon with some stuff i had lying around, well actualy i cannabalised another cannons to make it.First off i got the sprinkler valve off my older cannon and put a smaller chamber on it the chamber is a 390ML coke bottle with a pop in style schrader valve and i have only taken to bottle to 50psi max because risk of it blowing out but i dont no what pressure i can get it to with my pump i dont have a pressure guage.
The barrel is a 3/4 rifled barrel which i rifled myself and it works quite well but the projectiles start to loose there nice stable flight as they are subdued by gravity and come back to earth. On top of my barrel i have a laser sight which is a 2x off my telescope which doesnt really do much for aiming but looks cool 8) and thats about all it does.
The first shot i did with it was at 50psi and the marble i shot out of it went out of sight and i also shot some bullet shaped slugs made out of carrots which fly fairly straight but dont have nearly the range of marbles.I shot a marble at a piece of 1/2 chip board which was water weatherd so that makes it soft but it went straight through.
I plan to make this gun either very sniper like and make it stealthy black all over or maybe go the road of a pump action with breach laoding etc.
Tell me what you think and thats for reading.

I've read the people have taken those pop bottles (bit a bit bigger) and pushed them up to like 100 psi. Very nice cannon and stay safe! :)

I forget the name of the brand of sprinkler valve but it comes from australia and it had a guide rod so i had to offset the blow gun.
Torch,i have been using "pop" bottle for my cannons for about 3 years and only ever had one blow out and the larger bottles hold 120psi ok,and even when the bottles do fail they are low energy nothing like a dry ice bomb. The bottles just rip and dnot send schrapnel.
Bluetooth, i connect the bottle by rasping the threads down to the size of 3/4 npt and then cover it in teflon tape and screw it inot place with a pair of vice grips, works well and like i said only every had one failure and that was wiht a 2leter bottle.

It's an awesome gun but is it really that hard to make a PVC pressure chamber? I'd hate to see you or someone else get hurt if that soda bottle goes.

I agree with pvc arsenal. You should make the chamber out of pvc and buy an air compressor. My pneumatic pb gun shoots paintballs straight through 1/2" plywood at 100 psi and is very accurate with iron sights. I would put a picture of mine but i cant upload pictures. Nice gun though.
