That looks like one heavy duty machine. Does it still function as a lawnmower (tree chopper, rabbit killer, etc)? :)
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

thanks maverik94 yea i think your on about tractor V lugs, im looking for some as we speak. Around here we have a newspaper called the quokka, its basically a big classifield paper like ppl list stuff to sell and stuff. I just got myself some free (out of free section) 5 tyres on wheels from a 100 series cruiser with 90% tread, selling next week for 500 so thatl get me my tyres for sure!

thanks thedeathofall! yea not so much armour as skidplates but i will be making a 3" porting valve gun for it to!

Yea it is surburban spudgunner, nah it doesnt because i ripped off the cut ajuster bu i will be making attachment to use on our 5 acre block such as plough and shredder.

oh dont worry im taking her to the 4wd trails around here, mud, bulldust and gravel should do the trick! You can! I got all mine from calling up every lawnmower shop around and seeing what they had used. From what ive heard of american lawnmower racing if you call them up or better yet go see em they will pretty much give you engines or frames.

Good job rebuilding your tractor, it is a very time consuming process that I have completed twice. I also found an old tractor in the trash (2 actually) and last Summer I completely rebuilt it by hand. It doesn't go very fast and it has a small engine, but I use it for parades which don't require high speeds anyways. I have a few videos of it on Youtube:

Tearing it apart (you can see the horrible condition it was in, as it sat outside for the past 15+ years):

Starting the lawnmower engine on it for the first time:

Filling in the rusted out areas and painting it like the Polish flag:

Starting it this Winter:

It was featured in the Pierogi Fest parade, part of a local celebration for the area's large Polish population. Subscribe to my Youtube account as well, I will have more videos of it up in the Spring.well

I don't know why the embedding of the videos didn't work, just look up "Polish Express Tractor" on Youtube, or search my username there (PaulsAirsoftArmory). It should work.

Works pretty well, It is a 6.75 horsepower lawnmower engine with overhead valves (ooooh fancy), and it is awesome.

Actually, 19.5 is one of the smaller ones, The smalles ones I see at the stores around here are 17hp, At this very moment I am looking at an advertisment for a john deere lawn tractor that is 25 hp. But then this is a big farming area in the us. Im not saying 19.5 hp is tiny, It easily hauls 1/2 ton, but not much more, we use it to transport soil, plants, manure, hay, etc. But its not a huge lawn tractor either. Briggs are the tiny tractors, theyre the ones I see with 17hp. Ours is a Cub

its just not tho if you with horsepower.

if we stay in the 'garden tractor' area youve got from 2 to 26hp or therebouts so a 19.5 fits right up near the top of that.

now enough thread jacking back on topic

My tractor is from 1986 and the original engine was only 10 horsepower, which was the standard back then. When I got it, it was in very bad condition and missing half its parts, so I put my next most powerful engine on it. I don't need a big engine anyways because it doesn't have a mower deck.

About how fast do you think yours goes? Looks like it could haul a heavy load very quickly.
