for my new homemade airsoft gun, i am working on a clip, (this gun is not automatic, nor semi auto). Am am planning on using 1/4" blacke line as the barrel, but cor a clip This is the design. The picture should explain somewhat, but the clip should be unscrewable. Also, it should be closer to the valve. Any questions or comments please post them! My question is: would this work? If not, how can I fix this?

For a start, it's a MAGAZINE, not a CLIP. A 90 degree tee would be much better as in your design the spring is fighting the airflow, trying to push the projectile backwards. You will also probably get a lot of multiple feeds. Also I don't know if you can get a 45 degree tee small enough for that.

Also, due to the design it will try to pressurize the magazine as well as the barrel. A blow forward breech will remedy this problem.

magazine, sorry. Ok, I will look into a blow-forward breech. The only reason I was thinking a 45 degree t would be good would be that if you hold if straight dow, there would be a lesser chance of the ammo falling out, But I think you're right, It would be very hard to find a 45 degree t of this size.

Not sure how much time you're willing to put into an actual working airsoft magazine, but I just made one that is very reliable and works everytime with a bolt action putting each bb into the breech. Here's a pic, sorry if it's hard to understand how it works- and disregard the pvc pipe in the background, that's just my barrel laying there, but the little thing i made on the left is the loader/bolt action- it slides between the channel at the top of the magazine and the bbs are spring-fed but they stop at the top while they wait for the loader to pick another one off the top of the stack. Then the bb slides up the front 45 degree angled ramp and up into the hole in the side of the barrel and the hole is sealed from air leakage with half-cylindrical shaped peice at the top of the loader. Though similar to a manufactured spring-powered airsoft gun, this is actually my own design, I made it up, works like a charm. 8) As for how to keep the magazine stationed where it is supposed to be when using the gun, I made a system for that too, but don't have pics yet, but just take apart an airsoft pistol and see how the mag-release system works, it will give you ideas.
