SM- There was no need for a response seeing as first such a idea is far from plausible and childish.

DGR-C- Where you think that plastic was made from both you PVC and hand pump? Launching a potato in itself is not "natural" seeing as before human interventage they were not propelled by compressed air.

To your questions:
1- I googled your question exactly and I got <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=Is+PVC+R ... l">THIS</a>. <a href="http://www.grrn.org/pvc/">THIS</a> was the first result.

2- Lets stop being "politically correct" and realise any change in our fuel will have 0.000000000000000000000000001 impact. Proably more zeros, but I didnt want to drag it out. I never been a fan of enviromentalists... One down the street built his house with metal studs to "save" wood, but in all reality wood being a renewable resource would still have been a better choice when attempting to be envirmentally freindly. Who in the hell says humans are natural? Beetles can wipe out thousands of acres of trees and its natural, but when a human takes one tree down with a chain saw, thats not natural.

Again, please refrain from enviromental babbiling, seeing as its all a joke. I might listen to someone that actually live what they preached. All I have learned from enviromentalists is that humans arent natural, everyone but thereselfs are destroying the o-zone, and weeding is plant racism...

Does this really need to go on? I'm gonna lock it if you guys keep up the bickering in a thread only intended to announce and discuss that Right Guard is no longer useable.

For my standard design (see spud buster), I use acetylene gas generated from mixing water and Calcium Carbide (a.k.a. bangsite).

Put the projectile in first, but not anything that will seal very tightly and/or is heavy (no potatoes). Get a small cup 2-3 oz of water and anchor it inside the potato gun. get a teaspoon and fill it half full of bangsite (calcium carbide) and before you pour it in, be ready to VERY QUICKLY close the gun. After you have added the bangsite to the water in the cup, quickly seal the gun. Pause for 5-10 seconds allowing maximum generation of acetylene gas and mixing with oxygen to occur.

Warning: Use face shield and gloves.

Warning: Resulting liquid contains calcium hydroxide, a caustic liquid-handle and dispose of with care.

Warning: don't use potatoes, as the force is too great. i suggest rocks that are smooth in between 2 wads of paper.

Warning: Dangerous use only under adult supervision.

Warning: do not aim at people.

Warning: this explosive mixture creates a very rapidly expanding propellent capable of developing dangerous projectile speeds of hundreds of feet per second.

The best thing that we could find was TRESemme fine mist its safer than carb cleaner (we blew our chamber out with that crap) and it packs almost as much punch. Try it its only $3

i also have used anti static spray and it works a little less powerful as hairspray but its not as sticky and such but ether starting fluid is crazy but expensive and someone should use brake fluid that stuff is highly flammable
