A 3 phase compressor for boiler testing can probably pull around 3000, but that's an expensive piece of kit. Doesn't it take ridiculously low temp and around 17000 psi to liquefy air? Not something you're going to get under normal circumstances.
Note that HPA tanks are also referred to as high pressure nitrogen, seen as air is around 75+% nitrogen..

well... uhmmm I am sorry to tell you that but your sources lie... 160+ psi doesn't have to be regged down when you use metal... who said you have to use PVC when building a BBMG ?? AFAIK malleable iron fittings & pipes are available in the USPropane pressure is very dependent on temperature, and it can reach 160+ psi; which obviously needs to be regged down. (unless my sources lie)
