Ok here is my next cannon
This is my version of the green hornet cannon I found on this link here http://www.advancedspuds.com/gunplans.htm
I was in search of the ultimate handle for this thing and here is what I have came up with for it. It has interchangable 2 in, 1 1/2 in, and 3/4 in barrel's. It will only be spray and pray. Spark screw holes still have to be drilled and I may put in a fan.

Edit: I also am working on an over-under the chamber will be 3in sch-40 and the barrell will be 1 1/2in sc-40 but would like some suggestion on proper legnth for chamber and barrel for spray and pray. Any advice would be appreciated.

Update: Here are some new projects I am working on !
1st is the old fashioned Civil War Cannon (because that is what my 9yr old wants lol
And the second will be the double pistol grip over/under made from http://www.advancedspuds.com/gunplans.htm it is the Mini T-Rex with the chamber below instead of inline.
These are works-in-progress. But updates will be coming soon.

Update:
Today is the first day I have had a chance to work on the toys and I am well pleased with the progress. But still alot to do lol.

I added a fan to the chamber and made the perfect fan control box out of a waterproof/floating/necklace/container which houses the push button on/off switch and the 9v battery and wires (no led.....yet) perfectly, looks good, and is convenient. Screws right apart while atatched to the chamber for easy battery replacement/removal.

As for the rear grip and trigger, I really did like the joystick feel with the index finger trigger, but using your thumb with the current design is more comfortable overall.
I also added the yellow hose which I just cut a slice out of and taped it back together with clear tape which makes for the perfect safety for the BBQ ignighter. It can not be pressed while the hose is on.

Things still needing done:
I will add a piece of hose around the clamp for the control box.
Need to secure all handle joints with pins and glue.
Still need to hook up spark in the chamber the trigger is mounted and ready to be wired. Just needs bolt holes drilled into the chamber and bolted on.
Final paint scheme needs done and barrels need painted also.
Probably more flames out of the hose.

Then shooting begins and more updates will appear here.

I like it a lot, especially the flame effect with the hose. Is that smooth yellow tubing for a shoulder strap?
The handle looks very ergonomic, nice work, looks like it's mostly your own design; aside from the name it's a fairly standard design with your own handle and paintjob etc.

I just noticed you used a cleanout cap, not very smart... Even though its only a spray and play, they can blow off at 40 psi. Not saying it needs to be condemned, but be careful.

Yes the smooth yellow tubing could be used as a shoulder strap. It is what I like to call "slinky-air-hose"

I have not shot it yet as the BBQ ignighter still needs hooked up and like i said possibly a fan but I will definately update when finished !

Yes I use the index finger for the trigger and also the yellow tubing over the red part of the bbq ignighter does not allow the red part to be pushed down until it is taken off so it is like a safety.

If seen other guns use reducers to ball valves for fueling... But you might want to research yourself about them, or even PM a 'veteran' for more advice...

That is a sweet looking cannon. I am not too sure about the bbq placement as it looks akward, but thats your call I guess. It is visually appealing.

If you are using a spray can fuel, try to stay away from hairspray. It will really gunk up the threads of your cleanout cap. That is where you will run into issues of not being able to tighten it enough and having the cap blow off. I suggest going to Walmart and looking for some stuff called 3-2-1 Nail Dryer in the nail polish area. It doesnt leave a residue but leaves a nice baby powder smell, and its powerfull.

Beautiful custom work on this. The trigger does look a little hard to get to with your thumb. The cannon is really eye catching over all though. I like the multi-barrel/purpose ability....a fan and a propane metering system would really top things off.

dude I love it. the clean out cap is ok as long as you dont cross thread it or anything. I got one on crooked once and it blew off and almost hit my friend in the face.

Got some new toys over the weekend
I would like to mount the stunguns so that they are removable and usable with all my spud guns.
Has anyone done this?
I was thinking about a way to mount them with velcro and just position the bols that go through the chamber so that when mounted, the stungun contacts are touching the bolts.

The stunguns dont have screws to hold them together so I am assuming they can not be taken apart to mount in a project box.

Also, I added the pic of the switch wiring for anyone who has trouble with wiring lol

I bought this switch at a yardsale for 50cents lmao. it has a led built right into it so that the end of the switch is lit while the switch is in the on position. serves the same purpose of putting a led in the control box without all the extra bulk of a resistor/circut board etc.

MOre updates will come so keep checking back. I will be hooking up the ignighter in the green hornet version today and will try to take some videos for you all

Ps. Any ideas on how to hook up the stungun so that it is removable would be appreciated. Or links on info on how other ppl may have done it.

I have used velcro before. It is a little awkward since a spudgun has mostly round surfaces and the stun gun has flat.

Have you checked out the system I used in Trip Thunder? Basically you replace the battery with a 9v 7809 voltage regulator, rubber band the trigger on permanently and use an external trigger switch to start the stun gun. This allows you to install the stun gun and enjoy external triggering without destroying its case. You'll need to have a power source of 12-18 volts for this to work.

Have you checked out the system I used in Trip Thunder?

I have seen the thread and read it before. I am not too familiar with wiring things up. lol. So I will have to read it a little closer a couple of times probably to understand it. But I will give it another look tonight or tomorrow.

Keep checking back for updates. I will figure out some removable/reusable way for these stunguns and I already have an idea ! Muhaahaaahaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaa.

I will also say, The chamber fan is such a big improvement to these things ! ! ! I have shot this Green hornet version several times and it has went off every shot so far of the first push of the bbq ignighter.
