Where do you shoot?

I live in the city and I can only test fire my spudgun by shooting straight up and hoping it lands in or near my yard. I need a lot better location. Where do you shoot yours?

i shoot mine in the desert or on large dirt lots. what dity do you live in?

I shoot mine in my backyard (in suburbs of Carlsbad, CA). The neighbors seem to think that the noise is me hitting golfballs.<--Not sure how that conclusion was reached. I need a better place to shoot as well.

Haha publix i love that place i gotta friend who works at the one here. i shoot in my grandparents backyard its 3 acres then it goes to a 4 acre lake so its cool

Does it really matter
If your in a city should it into a backstop in your yard

I test fired my big gun in my backyard. And I fire my mini back there also. When I want to shoot actual projectiles out of my big gun though, and not just wadded up paper towel, I have to drive out to my grandmas house, which is about 1/2 hour away.
I live in the city, and don't really have much of a backyard.

Well some crack head landscaper guys dumped a dumptruck full of dart in our back yard. (Techincally are front yard, but seeing our house is like postioned sidewayz' to the road most go to our back door instead...) Anyway the mentioned pile is the back stop for multiple plywood targets.

For long range shots, I be pullin' a no-no. There is a house ~75yds from my deck and another behind it ~50yds. Then after that its just a ~400yd wide feild that extends for proably a mile. So I just shot over the two houses and my projectile is free from destruction.

Most my neighboors are cool with me shooting and will stop mid-yard work to watch me shoot. I occasionally get a "I found a golf ball in my yard" from neighboors. More then anything it cast them into reminiscing "when I was a boy". Although this old hag next door thinks I have the worlds largest firecracker stash. She has came over a few times to remind me that firecrackers start fires, and I simply agree since I cant imangine what she would do when she learned it was actually a gun expelling a golf ball hundereds of yards...

I shoot into my backyard that extends 200 yards to a treeline. After the treeline, the forest extends for about another 75 yards before it gets to Highway 40. I'm gonna have to stop shooting that way when I get a golfball gun. 8)

But, If I just wanna damage something, I just sit a piece of plywood in front of a small oak tree and blast it to bits. The oak tree doesn't mind, and I've only removed a little bark. If anything, it fertilizes the tree with all the potato and apple bits...

Whenever I go to my friend's house, we've got a HUGE yard to shoot in, and then, if that's not long enough, we go out to Lark Lane, which extends about 400 yards in either direction from where we hang out.
