Looks nice.
Got any pics of the dart ammo?
Very ergonomical design for shoulder firing and aiming well.
(My own current PVC launcher is similar, except it has a threaded coupling that I put teflon tape on and attach various size chambers).
Constructive critisizim:A sprinkler valve would improve performance.

you seem to be spending alot of money on a realy simple gun. i made some ball valve before i knew what "spudguns" where. they were cool but the switch to piston valves is AMAZING. then to get more power i went to a QDV.....

spending alot???? all up the extras cost me like 60 bucks ,laser sight and scope but the bi pod is questionable atm due to current bidding price all of witch can be removed and replaced on an updated gun,,appart from the fittings which were like 2-3 dollars for each fitting all the other stuff i had lying around the house.....

as for a piston valve gun it seems a little outta my league atm as im still learning,i would really like to see the difference in power with the same gun but with a sprinkler valve installed ,,the thing is already lethal at the moment it shoots threw 40mm-60mm think of newspapper thats plenty at 80 psi but i would like a little more range considering its affective for about 40-50m without having to add considerable drop in aiming at ur target

if i shoot a marble about 150-200m with a ball valve what distance would i likly achive with a sprinkler valve ??? with my current set up?

Don't think it was necessary to spend the 50bucks on a carbon fiber vinyl to strengthen your pvc pipe. That amount could've built you a nice copper gun or two.

Considered saving those for another project?

I'm gonna have to agree...you are spending a bit on this. My gun, which I will post tomorrow has had less than $100 spent on it (actually, perhaps more), including making a homemade 400 psi pump.

You can buy a $3 laser pointer from a store, carry out a simple mod on it to make it remotely switchable and put a nice case on it for aesthetics. Probably all under $5, presuming you had none of the parts (switch, wires etc to begin with)

By the way, with a ballvalve you will throw your aim off trying to open the valve fast.

Sorry to sound so critical, but it is actually quite a nice gun

It looks much better with those upgrades, and no matter what we say, whats done has already been done, just consider this spud nicely done and finished with! :D (the extras could be diy-ed instead of using real stuff)

I agree with inonickname about the laser pointer, and the bv is going to cripple the spud with those nice add-ons :( a real pity :(

Anyway, if its possible, you could swap in a blowgun valve or something :D
