I will say it's on the Gulf, though.

and the second wave of snow
anyways the snow here last week was crazy but since I live on campus and I have sufficient snow gear normal people's snow problems haven't affected me, I can visit my friends, if I had any lol, I did have to shovel snow cause the university staff do that, the university had to arrange for cafeteria workers to stay over on campus so I could enjoy my hearty meals, my life was the same except there was lots of fluffy snow and no classes.

Snow and a moped-scooter don't mix..
I did get to test my Kevlar motorcycle jacket though.
It performs really well while rolling across the road.
I only hurt my hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder from the initial impact.
Great!
I mustn't complain.After all..who wouldn't enjoy a numb face and fingers every morning.
Maybe the other motorists are jealous. They seem eager to kill me..
Sure..overtake me at 88 MPH why dontcha?
Why would anyone ask for more than an inch of clearance?
Never mind the guy on his wobbly little bike exposed to the elements that can't steer or brake on a frozen up road..
Anyway..that one corner got me.I felt like Evil Knevel for a second..
" I'm freeeeeeeee!"
My brandnew scooter now looks like crap..but hey..at least it's still running..like a freakin 80 year old tractor on Jack Daniels...but so what if it was made for sunny weather....I don't need it to run all the time.
Walking is good for me..except maybe for my toes that fall off cause of the cold..
Kickstarting the thing for 15 minutes cause it won't start really warms me up prior to the trip.
A trip that normally takes 20 minutes..but with the back end trying to skid past the front wheel all of the time..this joyfull endeavor is lengthened to one hour.
Oh the fun.
Since I traded in my car for his little scooter I have seen nothing but snow.Almost three months now.
Who said one man can't make a difference.
Seems I alone solved the greenhouse effect..
Don't you just love mopeds??
In case you are still wondering..
I love snow....
Just wondering here..down in Brasil it's hotter than ever..while the entire northern hemisphere is experiencing the extremes of winter.
Is that conveyer belt still running or what?
Are you still reading this?!?!?!

At the end of november I finally bought another motorcycle(after 6yrs without), I'm thinking "Hey, Here in NC I can ride year round, it gets cold, but hey, my truck gets 10mpg the bike gets 60mpg, I can stand the cold." so of course we have the coldest/snowyist/icyist winter in years... It must be My Fault For having the bike... :angryfire:
On a Happier <i> note, as of Yesterday I'm only 1 year away from 40...(and still playing with toys)

@BTB
I think the difference you tried to make by driving a moped was canceled out by my truck in the snow. With the bed full of snow for extra weight, I've been getting 11-13 miles per gallon. With a six cylinder.

It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.
I live in colorado, and our snowfall was low (less than a half inch).
Bring it on!

In the search of summer I found my self in south east asia...
We got 91°F(33°C) about 80%humidity and a shit load of fun....
(IN YOUR FACE D_HALL... )
Its awsome, but i'm heading back far too soon...
Back home we have about half a foot, but it melts and comes back down, forking crazy weather. I miss goin swimming 24/7...
I was looking forward to global warming, but what do I get? Global friggen cooling...
Well happy spudding

They do have this wonderful thing called an indoor pool you know . You think you have crazy weather? On Christmas eve here in Virginia Beach it was 20 degrees, on new years eve, it was 85 degrees.john bunsenburner wrote: Back home we have about half a foot, but it melts and comes back down, forking crazy weather.
