But i just drew my outline on a piece of ply a bit bigger than needed then cut 3 more pieces , screwed them together, then cut them again all together to keep a good 1 piece shape. then unscrew the pieces and cut the internals out as required . easy 8)
a jigsaw, file & sandpaper would see you through it
