Nice! Is that your own type of pilot that you built there? I'm a lil confused. i see the schrader...but what is the pipe in front of it for?

As confused as the above posters, can we have a diagram of what the inner workings will look like?

I am assuming that is probably the chamber that has another Schrader valve on the bottom for fill purposes.
Need a better overall picture.

... but that would make the chamber behind the piston.dewey-1 wrote:I am assuming that is probably the chamber that has another Schrader valve on the bottom for fill purposes.

Then may be it is just a structural support for it to fit on the handle?

You're going to solder the two pipes together? That makes the "downward pipe" the fill.
Excess pilot volume with a tiny pilot valve...might create an issue.

well that possible but the idea got me thinking, I dunno if this is the design he is using but it could make for a fairly compact easy to build small calibre three way valve. If you you dont mind about a slight leak into the chamber this could be built with pretty much just telescoping brass tubing and one floating oring.

It depends on what everything is made of and the quality of build. but by the looks of it maybe 400psi if you're lucky.

thanks yea im just not to sure bout that fill tube connection (still not that sure how much punishment epoxy can take) but now you said that, when i get a shock pump it will make me feel a bit better about maybe 300psi (still much better than the 80psi i am limited to atm)qwerty wrote:It depends on what everything is made of and the quality of build. but buy the looks of it maybe 400psi if you're lucky.
