hi i am thinking about building a semi-auto 6mm airsoft gun. i have the mechanism that will deliver air (qev/blowgun etc.) but i am not sure how to make an easy to use magazine that will allow bb's to be fired without leaking air. i know how to do it bolt-action, but i want it semi-auto. does anyone know how to make a feeder/loader mechanism? thanks

Spring loaded tube. Just look at most of the magazines built here...

Barrel load right on the outside of the valve.

Get a tube that fits the bbs with a hole small enough that bbs won't fall out and connect it directly under the barrel. When the air goes out the barrel and blows over the magazine with the bbs in it, it will suck the bbs into the barrel and shoot them out.

You can bother with some sort of reloading bolt, like the blow forward bolt:

Or go for blowback:

For spherical projectiles like BBs though, a simple Tee breech without a bolt should suffice:

Works for pellets too:

thanks, ill probably just go with the tee. to make it airtight, im guessing that a compression fitting with the right sized tube would work. would it? thanks

Have a look at this project by lozz08, I-m sure you-ll find it helpful.
