I came up with a system that can be used to refill any pneumatic spudgun automatically, at least I think it will. The refiller is made up of multiple tanks that have a piston in them with a spring that has a force equal to the PSI times the surface area. When the gun is emtpy the first chamber empties into the gun, while the pressure drops in the first chamber the piston moves to the left, eventually the piston reaches the end and the rod attached to the piston pushes a blowgun that allows air to start coming from the next chamber repeating the process. It needs some fine tuning and a few check valves but it should work.

You could also switch the gun to refiller connection to a barrel, and have the rods activate a blowgun exhaust for valves that lead to the seperate chambers.

A little complex but it might work.

That's going to be pretty hard to do, but I can see it working.

The blowguns will be good, since they will limit the flow so the sprinkler valve doesn't honk.

Maybe when I finally get my lathe set up for precision work i'll try this out!

Great idea atlantis! 8)

thats pretty complex in design. the reason i wouldn't attempt this is mainly because of the cost and i don't plan on exactly letting off 4 shots quickly when i can easily just do one at a time. but nice concept. i had a similar concept once with electric solenoids connected to multiple tanks that went to the gun. i could touch a button and all that pressure would be loaded behind the valve and fired with another button touch, then id close that one and open the next, and so on and so forth. never made it because it would cost so much.

very interesting idea, if it develops a bit further pleze post, looks to be quite promising for countries that have a complete ban on guns in any form

Cheers :)

i had a similar idea but using a single main storage chamber (4"pvc) a smaller 2" firing chamber pneumatic piston valve actuated with blowguns and a 3/4" barrel and bolt action breech loader housed in a 1" outer barrel. but i think the pressure of the main chamber will decrease to much to pressurize the firing chamber
