I have not made equalization holes yet.<br /> All disks were boiled and pressed from scrap pipe. Disks were cut out on a vertical lathe (an old drill press). Tell me what you all think.

it looks a bit big, but nonetheless beautiful! I would love to have a lathe, but I cannot justify spending $300+ just to make oring grooves; its barrel sealers for me!

Wow. That is very nicely done. Is that for a barrel sealing piston or chamber sealing? (rmich, it could be for either)

thats a pretty nice looking piston, was any glueing done between the disks? or is it just held together by the bolt?

You should use rubber sement to glue them because it would make a kind of like rubber padding and you could still take them apart if you needed to fix something.
