@jsr,

Yeah I had seen that somewhere before; perhaps on my RSS feed. Impressive stuff.
I think for true stereoscopic vision, you will need 2 objectives, which wouldn't really fit that close together.

Big brother sees this stuff too often and steps in to protect us from ourselves. It is how we let big brother get so big.

Ouch, that's gonna leave a mark!

hey guys long time no talk but i have an electronics freeks type question

i want to hook up my computer speakers to my alarm clock, to make it really loud, i plugged in my speakers as i normally do , set the alarm off on my clock, then i took two aligator clips then connected them the connector that would go into your computer or ipod or cd player, and then touched the other end of the aligator clips to the base of the speaker and it went really well :D :D

but i want to know if can purchase the female socket for the headphone connector to go into? so i can just cut the speaker that is in the alarm clock and solder the female socket in permentaly?

please help!!

Jsefcik, find a pair of old head phones, and measure about 6 inches from the jack, and cut the wire, solder it in place of the speak on the alarm clock, then get a audio jack coupling and plug em up. Easy.

Anyone have an opinion on using slugs in a .410?

To a small extent, I know that feeling, the instant of fear, then the "why can't I feel my hand" fear. It's really not fun, fortunately I had a fairly minor injury, but the shockwave numbs your hand and you fear the worse.

Not nice, the video should be alongside this video as recommended watching for those partaking in such things,.

Slugs in a .410, can I ask why? It's expensive, and not that effective. A Mosin Nagant would be a better investment, you'll spend $100 on ,410 slugs just to sight in and hunt a bit.

I was playing with some homemade fireworks in the New Years,
Mate of mine made couple of mexican polumnas with reasonable amounts of flash powder (would of estimated around 7-8grams)
inside plastic bottles.

the report/shock waves from 20m+ was quite an experience compared to commercial pyrotechnics.
Won't be playing with those anytime soon though, nearly shat myself :P
