How to make a QEV?

Hi guys

So since where i live its basically impossible to buy a QEV (Or atleast find someone who sells them) i think i will need to make one or find a other way to make my Soon to be bolt action rifle able to get multiple shots out of a co2 12 gram Cartridge
So if anyone know how to make a QEV i would appreciate it. BTW how much PSI is on a 12 gram co2 cartridge at room temp?

I would use google for questions like the pressure in a CO2 cartridge. I'll answer anyway. The pressure in a CO2 cartridge at room temp. (70F 20C) is about 800 PSI. If you take the volume of gas in a 12 gram cart. and multiply it by 4, that's the volume required to drop the gas pressure to 200 PSI. That's the volume of gas, not the internal volume of the metal cartridge itself. Unless you use metal pipe, you won't be able to use the internal pressure without regulating it to a lower pressure.

If you still want to make a QEV type unit, look at this - I made it with pieces of tube, masking tape and Araldite and it was good to 850 psi at least:
