Salvaged an ac compressor unit a while ago, its very similar to the one in this thread:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/ac-unit ... 22899.html
Is there anyone here who haved tried to take similar units to their breakdown-limit?
I would like to be able to use it at about 40 bars preassure, but is there any chance that it will work or will it break for sure? I dont want to take the risk if someone allready know its impossible, its after all a very nice unit

40 bar should be well within its working range, what you might want to consider is adequate cooling like immersing it in a bucket or oil or having a fan blow over it in order to keep it from overheating, especially if you plan to fill large chambers.
