You can't bend the spring by hand.
It's very strong.

The round thing on one end is a lockbolt, rounded flathead with a square right underneath it, normally used to attach those long hinges on farmgates..?
The square part buries itself into the wood so you can tighten a nut on the other end without the bolt turning.
Because of the rounded smooth head you can't remove the bolt from that side.

Anyway

The leafspring, wich is made from...leafspring...curls up into a square wich fits the lockbolt with some assistence.
I took it from a lock ( doorlock) and I have several spares in case one gets damaged.

I tapped an m6 hole through the sideplate. The lockbolt threads in and on the other side I use a nut to lock it in the position I want.

This way the spiral- end is hidden from view by the nice rounded head of the bolt and the angle ,and with it, springforce is adjustable.

The square hole in the hammer wasn't as hard to do as I had imagined.

I'm confused

Got this part
Gonna take a picture of one of those springs and the lockbolt I' m talking about.
Thanks :D
I took it from a lock ( doorlock)
I'm gonna buy a doorlock
Edit: Ah, now I get it. Was confused about how you adjust the tension but now I know.

I'm gonna buy a doorlock
You could go to a locksmith and buy just the spring, or ask for broken locks or used ones they put in the trash.

I edited my post to include the pictures...

No such thing here, you can't find people with such trade on the street. Every time somebody's doorlock breaks they just call a locksmith, witch will happily put on a new one on instead of try to fix it so he can charge more and save labor.
How did you make a square hole? Drill then file?

Ah, I had forgot about the extra air supply in the stock. How does that connect to the gun? And it goes in behind the piston, correct?

OMG is that magic
The drill axis clearly moves so I'm assuming BTB has a CNC at home? Or there is something special about the shank (it's not centered?)

CNC is for ...kittens!

I did some more filing and I'm not even close to the final shape....pff...

Eventually the two angles on the neck will meet in a single swirling edge..
Soon I'll have a chance to borrow a Dremel to do some engraving ..

Not sure wich parts to do though...It'll come to me...
