Well ive got plenty of old cars and disposible camers but was to lazy to get an ignition coil out of the car so i decided to try this...

Basicly its like a trigger where the two screws touch and makes a flame because of the high voltage of the compasiter it acually burns the metal (i think) so far it hasnt misfired not once through 5 bags of potatos today here is a drawing below of how it is.

Might wanna JB weld the trigger screw in place as pulling it over and over make the hole bigger and burns your finger lol.

The trigger screws is on of those ones with a hole like a question mark shape put the top part bends all the way down.

Hope yall like my idea its not the best but if its all ya got might as well use it.

P.S. Keep the compasitor on the rest of the circuit.

I can't tell you how many times camera flash has been used for ignition. Your trigger is a little different though, might actually help. I just let the 2 screws loosely touch each other, and use a doorbell switch.

P.S. You still need the rest of the charging circuit from the camera though.

Your diagram makes it look simple. I bought 2 battery bbq igniters. Spark wants to ground every where in the project box it's mounted in, on one of them. It has one lead and grounds under button mount. My new one has 4 posts,2 sparks jump between quite loudly .It's called pulse ignition- AA bat. I can imagine trying to tame it's flow. Keep it simple, I've heard here before. Will have to try cam flash. Real cheap. Can't get stun gun in my state, would have tried that weeks ago. BIGGERS BETTER-- I want large spark.
