Well, as Jack said earlier, RAP 4 do make 6mm plastic pellets of a sort, but they're a lot more expensive.
Using UK prices, it's about £15 for ten thousand 0.20g BBs (about another £10 if you want biodegradable ones), but the RAP Airfins go for about £110 for ten thousand.

Modifying .22 pellets, while similarly priced, will probably provide a better result.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
