I honestly think you're the only person on this forum who sees the word "batman" and thinks of cricket  :)

Haha, old laptop? It's one of those HTML5 "gifs" or videos or whatever they are.

In off-topic news, I had a nice Valentine's night at an Amon Amarth show in San Francisco! It was insane and my body still aches, throat is still raspy, ears are still ringing. Worth it :D

How'd you find it? I went to their show in Vienna in November. It was a lot of fun of course but I wasn't very impressed with them live. Back in 2009 or so they used to be the band to see live, now they seemed a bit tired. Though, I 'spose a lot of the sound issues could've been to do with the venue.

At times, I was having difficulty telling what song it was or where we were up to in a song.

It was awesome! Last time I saw them was at a festival and they had a designated 35 minute, 5-6 song set. This time they were out for almost two hours and played over 15 songs, a lot of the new album along with plenty of With Oden, Twilight, Surtur, and the classics. Sound was fine quality and really loud up close to the stage.
How've you been MrC, it's been a while!

I was close to the front too so that could be why I had trouble hearing. It was held in a giant cylindrical building called the Gasometer, probably not ideal for acoustics either. Still loads of fun with the band only a few meters away. Not a fan of the last two albums really, I've grown to prefer their back catalogue over the years.

I'm doing pretty well. Finished bachelors degree, post grad this year, not a lot of time for cannons. Haven't fired a hybrid since late 2012. Now I'm worried it may have rust on the inside from sitting idle for so long but I can always build another if that's the case. What have you been up to?

Basically. That and school, combined with applying to internships/jobs and trying to get out into the real world. Ugh.
