Well I have searched for slide valves in AUS and can't find any. I am now looking at Co2 tanks and regulators and I don't think I can get what I want for under $150 which is a bit much. I did want to have it at pressures of 400-500 psi but buying/finding parts that can take that much pressure is not looking to good. semi-auto looks like its going out the door as well there is no point if I am not going to get a co2 tank, so then I have to then find someway to get high pressure's without a co2 tank.

If you have seen clide's semi-automatic it use's a slide valve. Its like a collar over a piece of pipe with holes in it when you move the collar it exposes the holes so the air can pass through.

HPA tanks. Expensive because you will need to run a stabilizer along the line somewhere so you don't blow up your gun... but well worth it. Search for them and stabilizers on google anf you'll get a heap of results. There are alot of places in Aus that sell slide valve, it's just harder to find them. I'd recomend to just buy on the net and get them shipped here, it would probably actually work out cheaper doing it that way...

I'm going to fell dumb asking this but what's a stabiliser I only thought you needed to use a regulator to keep the pressure down. I am redesigning my plans for the replica I haven't been able to think of a resonable reloading system so I will have a bolt as well untill I think of something. I am trying to drw a plan in rhino3D but I have nearly given up. :(

I've decided to look into other guns to replicate, Maybe it will be easier with different guns. I have run out of ideas for the m16 and nead something to think about so i'll have ago at putting some of my concepts into other guns. I like bullpup rifles so I'll be having a play around with some of these.

The FAMAS "one of my favourites"

The F88 AUSTEYR "Aus service rifle"

The SA-80 "UK service rifle"

Now just other guns that I like.

The FN-FAL para

The AK-101 "very nice gun"

The FN-FNC "Nice gun"

I'm leaning towards the FAMAS and The AK-101 Cause I think they look cool i'll draw plans another time

use your ideas man. but for the trigger, use a solenoid valve and use a co2 tank with a regulator. i just made a single shot rifle that way, the only difference between yours and mine would be that with mine, you have to drop the bb down the barrel 1 at a time. i am working on a breech for it. but school is imparing my time to make it. i have a plan book with 50 ideas or more for different guns. if you have any more questions, just email me, oh and the solenoids can be found on ebay
(not the sprinkler valve ones)
