Please Excuse me for my ignorance, but the Gas Gun design Tool doesn't seem to be working.
I have read In quite a few articles and forums about this spreadsheet where I can type in values to workout different things such as barrel ratio and that stuff. I am planning on making a new pneumatic cannon, but I want to play around with some hypothetical ideas first!
Computers are not my strength, so please bare with me!
So let me go through my steps so far-
step 1
So I went onto the GGDT website and downloaded the file. Clicked agree, then downloaded it.
step 2
For some reason my computer automatically labelled it as a wps file!? Not sure if this matters.. I right clicked it (as you can see) then clicked extract files. This is what I have read on the internet as what I should do. If this is wrong please reference to this step and tell me below.
step 3
So I opened the zip file, then attempted to open the file named .EXE, I also read that this is what I am suppose to click on..
step 4
This is the message that came up when I attempted to open the .EXE file!?
Please reference the step that I have made the mistake on. I am not that good on the computer, so please excuse my ignorance!

The error message clearly is telling you what the problem is. Google is your friend on the spot, no waiting for help, it's just a click away. Do a search on how to register that file in your computer operating system.
If you are using Windows I highly recommend searching the Microsoft KB for the instructions...

Once you have the zip file you need to extract all the files into a regular folder. Just click and drag the GGDT folder in the top level of the zip file onto your desktop. Then open that GGDT folder and click on GGDT4.6.exe file the system should properly find the "MSCH..." file.
One hint on GGDT; "Inner Diameter" is almost always zero.

Try this:
Right click on the ggdt.exe file, you should see a menu. On that menu, click on "Open as Administrator".

Thats good news ham_machine! great work keep it up!
I am glad I saw this. I had the same issue after downloading it. Computers are definitely not my strong suite. I assumed it was my computer that was the issue, but it was not. Thanks for the suggestion to open under administrative. It worked for me aswell.
